VOrb TipsVOrb TipsThe SpaceTec SpaceOrb is excellent about never requiring continual recalibration. If you do find yourself needing to recalibrate the controller, make sure nothing is touching or resting on the ball and press the small button on the underside of the controller.
You can actually use the recalibration button as an input button. Some inputs that might make sense using the zero button are:
Some applications map thrust control to the z-axis. This is fine. But, if those same applications let you also map a single button to forward thrust, doing so can be advantageous. This is because sometimes it is difficult to continually apply maximum positive z force on the controller without affecting other axes.
